Emily Goldberg was married to Phillip Goldberg in 2010, and together they share two children, Paisley and Paxton. A local GOP leader, Emily was elected to the position of Vice Chairman of the Hamilton County Republican Party in 2021, after serving as Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Hamilton County Pachyderm Club from 2019-2021.
Some of Emily’s most recent service includes serving as a board member of the Housing and Urban Development Board for the City of Chattanooga, and actively serves as the Vice Chair of the Hamilton County Safety Board.
Raised in Rural North Georgia, Emily attended Kennesaw State University where she studied mass communications before deciding to pursue a career in cosmetology. After beginning her career, Emily relocated to the East Brainerd area of Hamilton County with Phillip over 12 years ago where they started their family together.
She, with her husband Phillip, are owners of Columbia Recycling Corporation, a reclaim manufacturer located in North Georgia since 1971.
Emily has always committed herself to the grassroots campaigns here in our community. She believes that if you want to know what’s going on, and you want to make a difference, you must roll up your sleeves and do the work. It takes hard work to maintain conservative values and principles at the forefront of our homes.
The Goldberg’s children attend Boyd Buchanan Christian School in Chattanooga.
